I just saw this movie again and I have to say it is possibly my favorite movie EVER! I was lucky enough to see it on stage and I was completely blown away. Granted it was one of the first proper plays I had ever seen but it was just...perfect! After watching The Exorcism of Emily Rose, which is a pretty good movie in itself but it just wasn't scary at all. Oh, back to Rent, the one scene that I loved best in the play that they didn't put in the movie was the scene where they had the three different couples stand side by side and just showed them and all their issues without trying to analyze them. This is one of the things I love about the story. None of their lifestyle choices are ever questioned. It is just stated and we are left to take it as is. I haven’t seen many movies that can do that this well.
I could talk about this movie forever, but I think everyone should see it and I have yet to meet anyone that does not relate to some part of it. You guys should see it if you haven’t and if you have seen it let me know what you think about it coz it’s just such a great story.

The play and the movie was great. I have the movie on DVD and I watch it 5 or 6 times a week.
I don't have it not DVD yet, but I totally just still my friend's copy and watch it all the time while singing along. I figured since I can't sing, I'm entertaining her by my over the top bad singing, so she can't be mad at me.
